The 4/19/16 Polaris Side by Side Recall: What's Going On?
Polaris just announced that they are recalling 133,000 Polaris RZR 900 and RZR 1000 vehicles (Model Years 2013-2016) to make important safety fixes and ensure they're safe to ride. Read the full press release.

If you have a recalled RZR side by side, you're eligible for free repairs at official Polaris dealerships starting Friday, April 22, 2016.
How to Find Out If Your RZR 900 or RZR 1000 is Included in the Recall:
The most important thing to do if you own a RZR side by side is to contact an offical Polaris dealer like Tousley Motorsports. As a Polaris dealer, we will repair your side by side for free—even if you bought it from someone else.
Here's what to do if you own a RZR 900 or RZR 1000:
1. Find the VIN
The recalled RZRs were sold between July 2012 to April 2016, but not every RZR 900 or 1000 sold during that period is included in the recall. To find out if your side by side needs repair, find the VIN number by looking on the driver’s side rear frame rail, above the PVT cover. If you have any difficulty locating the VIN, check your Owner's Manual for the specific location. (Or give us a call at 651-483-8296.)
2. Contact Tousley's Service Department
Once you've located your VIN number, send us an email or give us a call. You can check your VIN on the offical Polaris website, but Polaris warns that VINs are not used sequentially and it might be hard to determine if your specific side by side needs repair.

3. Bring Your Side By Side to Tousley
If your side by side is included in the recall, we can help you set-up a service appointment to fix the issue and make the repair as convenient as possible. We offer after-hours drop off if you're not able to bring your side by side in during the day, and will help you load and unload it. If transportation help is needed, we are also able to pick-up your offroad vehicle.
If you have your purchase receipt and registration card handy, bring it with your side by side to Tousley. If your side by side was purchased at Tousley Motorsports, we will be able to look-up purchase details for you.
