Early Sunday morning we started our trip by ATV from Siren, WI to International Falls, MN. We started out at 8:00 in the morning, completing the first leg to Moose Lake, MN by 2:00 in the afternoon. We were welcomed in Moose Lake by Veronica from the Chamber. Our ride did get temporarily side tracked to a road route due to some trail closure, which saved us a couple hours of riding.
There are four men participating in the long journey. Larry Koch and Ken Nelson are long time riding friends from Siren, WI. Rick Thompson is the President of the Turf and Tundra ATV Club and is from Danbury, WI. Greg Olson is the Northwest Regional Coordinator for the Wisconsin ATV Association and a Sales Consultant for Tousley Motorsports. He is from Baldwin, WI.
We had a great day of riding, even with the heat. The scenery and condition of the trails were wonderful and we saw a lot of wildlife, including a large Black Bear. We look forward to more days of riding.
Stay tuned for more upcoming news, including Monday's trip details. We will be posting a blog for each day we are gone. We will updating our location on Facebook and Twitter using a GPS system to track us. There will also pictures along the way.
Happy Trails,
The Crew
